Our Philosophy
Our philosophy is simple — we wish to share the harvest that nature has blessed us with, grown locally without the use of chemicals, keeping ‘food miles’ minimal. At Shared Harvest, we grow our own produce as well as supporting other local growers and producers. We are a family-run business, having lived in the area all our lives and our intention is to provide our local community with good, healthy food.
We deliver fresh fruit and vegetables, free of charge to your door, in boxes that we can recycle, with minimal packaging.
We also bake fresh bread, using locally milled flour and the simplest of ingredients. We can teach you how to make your own organic bread on our Bread Making Courses. As a family ourselves we are helping other families to become independent of supermarkets. We supply an extensive range of organic goods, in bulk quantities, saving money and reducing packaging.
